posted Oct 16, 2017, 7:47 AM by Nu Sigma Nu Lambda Chapter   [ updated Oct 16, 2017, 7:49 AM ]

Housemates rally and prep for the annual Post-Gross celebration. Congrats to MS1s, Daniel, Aki, and Alexis, for completing their first gross anatomy exam! Special shout out to Aki for her incredible Post-Gross planning and coordination as our house Social Chair. We also have to thank the members of the MS1s in MSG that helped with cleanup duties the following morning.

NSN Representation at Tachy Tuesday

posted Oct 16, 2017, 7:44 AM by Nu Sigma Nu Lambda Chapter

NSN had strong representation at the inaugural "Tachy Tuesday", a new health and wellness program initiated by Nu member, Brad Bormann, and classmates. Housemates that exercise together succeed together!

Good luck on cardiology, MS2s!

The house sent our MS2s off to take on the cardiology exams with some sweet, heart-themed cards and candies. Good luck Anik, Brad, and Tiffany! And shout out to Meghan Morley for organizing the sugary surprise.

House bonding w/ New Nu's

The housemates initiated new MS1s with a house bonding evening full of food, games, and rooftop sunset+champagne. The amazing surprise to us all was tiny MS1 Aki Berman (wearing the tanktop in the photo) beating MS2 Brad Bormann (bottom center in photo) in a pushup contest. Shoutout to Anik Saha for organizing the evening and introducing us to Drawful games!

Spring House Day 2017

posted Apr 5, 2017, 2:49 PM by Nu Sigma Nu Lambda Chapter   [ updated Apr 5, 2017, 3:05 PM ]

For this spring's house day, we finished up with basement clean-up and reorganization from last year, and tackled some much needed porch and 3rd floor hallway renovations.

Front porch: putting on the first coat of paint -> the finished product.

3rd floor hallway: walls post spackle texturing -> post painting.

Match Day & Wedding Congratulations!

posted Mar 24, 2017, 4:38 PM by Nu Sigma Nu Lambda Chapter   [ updated Mar 24, 2017, 4:40 PM ]

All sorts of congratulations are in order for events last weekend. Current MS4s at the house, Meghan and Mark, matched into their top choices, orthopedic surgery at Cooper and general surgery at UCSF, respectively. House alumna and former secretary Courtney also matched into her top choice for pediatrics at CHOP and the very next day married Shane (who also lived with us at the Nu for four years)!

Booze n Clues

Recent alum Ivor came back to the Nu to take charge on a 'booze n clues' session in this surprisingly tame-looking photo. Every couple of months one of the senior medical students does a case presentation for the house, but it's unlike any case presentation you'll ever see in the hospital.
